The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regard to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA sassa services.
“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The company stage designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
